This month I will be teaching an Andy Goldsworthy lesson for Arts Around at Tyler and Aaron’s school.  Each month I visit the Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades.  I present an artist and then have the kids do their own project inspired by the artist that we learned about.  Since Andy Goldsworthy works almost exclusively with natural, site-specific objects, the boys and I gave it a try in our own front yard, making our own natural sculptures from leaves, twigs and flowers.  Here’s a video of what we did. (I dedicate the video to my mom because Jackson and Aiden have not stopped singing “Zippity-do-dah” since my mom and dad were here to watch the boys for the week we were in the Bahamas!)
